Do I need a psychologist? Many people experience sadness, panic, stress, job conflicts, marital difficulties, drug and alcohol abuse, and problems with children. As most of us have discovered, everyday life is full of stresses which can become overwhelming, making formerly simple tasks irksome, difficult or even impossible. Happiness can become a rare rather than a usual experience. When you feel that you can no longer maintain your daily life in a way that provides pleasure and satisfaction part of the time, you may consider seeing a psychologist. If you find that you are not communicating with significant others what you really feel, but are usually hidden and indirect, fearful of the consequences of self-expression, you may want to talk with a psychologist. |
