Dr. Gurney has been working with children, adolescents, and families for over a decade.
She has diverse training from Harvard Medical School, where she provided psychotherapy,
psychological assessment, and consultation services to individuals, couples, families,
schools, and the courts. She uses a developmental, integrative, relational and strength-based
approach to therapy, combining contemporary psychodynamic theory with cognitive-behavioral
and solution-focused techniques.
