ORIENTATION AND PHILOSOPHY
Dr. Evans is clinically trained in cognitive constructivist and developmental
approaches to therapy and assessment. The belief that each person actively
constructs his or her own view of reality and ultimately health is the
driving force in her philosophical orientation. There is a reciprocal
interaction between the therapist and client, which shapes this process;
but it is utlimately the responsibility of each individual to reach the
goal of self actualization and utlimately healthy funcitoning with the
therapist as a facilitator of this process.

of her work. Mindfulness based intervention is offered to individuals
